Square Enix and Ubisoft has come in the cross-promotional marketing programs which involving Final Fantasy XV and Assassin’s Creed. What do we know about it?
Final Fantasy XV is an open-world RPG game which was developed and published by Square Enix for PS4, Xbox and Microsoft Windows platform, meanwhile Assassin’s Creed is a franchise centered on an action-adventure video game series which was developed by Ubisoft for the PS 3, PS 4, XBox, Wii, Microsoft Windows and OS X platform.
Assassin’s Creed has become the most great selling video game and it was published under every other platform also such as Nintendo DS, PlayStation Portable, PlayStation Vista, HP, Android and Windows Phone platform. Meanwhile, Final Fantasy has just recently get into the mobile game market with its distinctive features but not as fascinating as Final Fantasy XV which was played in PS4 platform.
The mobile version of Final Fantasy just wandering around building, cultivating, training army and attacking other empires, and when it come to the battle itself, it doesn’t looks great, even though now we have FFXV Pocket game, which is the cute version of FFXV.
So currently we have Gladio DLC, Ignis DLC, Prompto DLC beside the main game of FFXV, and of course added with the new Multiplayer Mode. While Assassin’s Creed already more than 10 installment series.
Comparing the battle system between FFXV and Assassin’s Creed is really hard, because each of them has very specific feature as Warping for FFXV and Leap of Death for Assassin’s Creed.
If you favor battling Giants, you should be very satisfied with FFXV, since you can use variety of Spell Combination, Weapons, and Flying Car. But Assassin’s Creed also has it’s advantage in using Stealth and Range Attack to kill enemies. Everyone has it’s preference, but I love both of their fighting styles.
Even though the difference is huge, but both of them are an open world game. FFXV story evolves around the fictional world of EOS, the kingdom of Lucis, meanwhile in the Assassin’s Creed it goes assassins who fight for peace and free will against the Templars who believe peace comes only through the control of humanity that we call slaves. The series featured historical fiction mixed with the real-world historical events and figures, the inspiration for the Assassin’s Creed comes from the Prince of Persia.
Square Enix is trying to get Ubisoft to promote FFXV, but I guess it’s fine with Ubisoft, since Assassin’s Creed Origin is also on the end of release time to public. Or maybe, in the future, these two giants will merge? Who knows? But it will be not in the near future, I think.
