Best Class To Choose

Dragon Age: Inquisition is an action role-playing video game developed by BioWare Edmonton and published by Electronic Arts. The third major game in the Dragon Age franchise, Dragon Age: Inquisition is the sequel to Dragon Age: Origins and Dragon Age II.

The story of Dragon Age: Inquisition follows a player character known as the Inquisitor on a journey to settle the civil unrest in the continent of Thedas and close a mysterious tear in the sky called the “Breach”, which is unleashing dangerous demons upon the world. The Inquisitor is viewed by some as the ‘chosen one’, as they have a ‘Mark’ on their hand capable of closing the Breach. The Inquisitor assembles the titular Inquisition in an attempt to stop Corypheus, an ancient darkspawn, who opened the breach in an attempt to conquer Thedas.

The gameplay is similar to its predecessors and mostly consists of elements found in a typical action role-playing game; players control their customized Inquisitor, and the companions they meet. They can defeat enemies with swords and magic, complete side quests, interact with non-playable characters, and progress through the main story. Players mainly control their protagonists in a third-person view, though a traditional role-playing game top down camera angle is also available.

After the release of Dragon Age II, the Dragon Age series was seen by some as a series with an “identity crisis”. As a result, Bioware sought to create a third Dragon Agegame that combined the elements of the first two. Having begun development in 2011, the game was officially announced at the 2013 Electronic Entertainment Expo. The game’s soundtrack was primarily composed by Trevor Morris, who replaced Inon Zur, the composer of the Dragon Age: Origins and Dragon Age II soundtracks.

Dragon Age: Inquisition received critical acclaim upon release, with critics praising its story, voice acting, soundtrack, detailed environments, and engaging combat. The game did receive some criticism for the presence of technical issues. It was awarded over 150 year-end accolades and nominated for more, including Game of the Year and Best Role-playing awards from several gaming publications.

What I love about Dragon Age Inquisition is that I can get all the trophies that I want and I can kill Dragons. Even though I never play the other two series of the dragon age which are the Dragon Age Origins and the Dragon Age II, I still find this game quite amusing. At first when I purchased this game, I was thinking that basically, I will face a lot of dragons all the way from the start of the game until the end of the game, and I disappointed a little bit that it doesn’t worked as I imagine.

Here you can have Mages, Rogue, and Warrior, each different type of classes, and you can customize your appearance also, even though I don’t find the character creation here is as much compelling as in other games, for example Bloodborne.

Even though, the graphic is not very high in term of my standard, when I’m into the story, it’s getting much more interesting. Closing a rift, while you were attacked by enemies is not very ideal but at least I get through a lot of parts of story missions and puzzles.

Talking about the dragons, some of them are really difficult to handle, but some is quite easy. I remember killing a dragon which wipes out my entire team, but I can defeat it with long range combat using mage, and it’s kind of long battle, anyway I killed it.

In this game, I have done doing the Rogue and the Knights, both of them doesn’t suits my game style, so I choose mage. Rogue is practically simple, it’s not awesome or fascinating but its just fine in combat. It allows me to use the double swords, and the moves are also swift.

In the game menus, you can find a few things to notice for, such as potions, pause system, skills, levels, specializations abilities and other crafting items. A few things I don’t like in this game are, the party’s health doesn’t generate over time, after an encounter with enemies, so either you set the percentage of which potions can be consumed automatically or you do it manually, so mage is really useful here.

The specialization abilities are different for Mage, Warrior and Rogue. For example if you are having a mage, there are three specialization abilities which are Knight Encounter, Necromancer and Rift Mage. Some players suggested that it’s very good to use mage as knight enchanter, but I think my play style suits range attack more than melee,I choose a rift mage because its much easier. If you don’t like your skills, you can also reset these abilities by purchasing a reset item in the shop.

Overall, the story is great, the combat is not disappointed.
